The Chesnutt

A guest favorite, The Chesnutt feels like your new home away from home.  Overlooking the botanical grounds of the B&B, the room is appointed with a beautiful antique wardrobe and luxurious King size bed.  It's named for Charles Waddell Chesnutt (1858-1932), the first African-American author to receive widespread critical acclaim who called Fayetteville home.

The Campbellton

The only first floor bedroom, The Campbellton features a large private bathroom outfitted with the house's original 1926 clawfoot soaking tub. The room's elegant four poster bed and cozy settee, makes for the perfect place to relax. The adjoining bathroom opens onto the back porch, a favorite place to enjoy breakfast

This is the only pet friendly room in the main house.

The Lafayette

The elegant and comfortable Lafayette room pays homage to the visit the Marquis de Lafayette made to his namesake city in 1825. With gold finishes, an antique wardrobe and an exquisite tiled shower, this is where history meets modern amenities.

The St Avold Suite

The Saint Avold Suite is truly something special. The bedroom's grand four poster King bed makes a statement, and the whitewashed fireplace trimmed in blue echoes the deep blue hues of the stunning, freshly renovated shower.  Through the stained glass panel and farmhouse door is an adjoining sunroom with a full sized bed and sitting area with a delightful view of lively Hay street.

The Dogwood

The Dogwood room is light, fresh and airy. The original hardwood floors lend texture to the crisp, modern decor of a room sure to sweep you off your feet.  The wrought iron King sized bed invites your best night's sleep. Fayetteville hosts an annual Dogwood Festival, and be sure to take a tour through the local dogwood trail!

The Cottage on Hay

The standalone cottage is located just behind the MacPherson House and sleeps four.  The private bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the Sofa in the living room is a Queen sleeper sofa.  The roomy cottage has a charming dining area and small kitchen (full sized refrigerator, no stove).
