A guest favorite, The Chesnutt feels like your new home away from home.  Overlooking the botanical grounds of the B&B, the room is appointed with a beautiful antique wardrobe and luxurious King size bed.  It is named for Charles Waddell Chesnutt (1858-1932), the first African-American author to receive widespread critical acclaim who called Fayetteville home.

The only first floor bedroom, the Campbellton room is bright, spacious and elegant. Tucked away at the back of the house, the room's elegant four poster bed and cozy settee create the perfect space to relax and unwind. The spacious adjoining bathroom is outfitted with the home's original 1926 clawfoot soaking tub. *Also available as a Suite with a private living room and sleeper sofa.

The elegant and comfortable Lafayette room pays homage to the visit the Marquis de Lafayette made to his namesake city in 1825. With gold finishes throughout, an antique wardrobe and an exquisite modern tiled shower, this is where history meets modern luxury. Enjoy your beverage of choice at the sitting area overlooking bustling Hay Street and the beautiful foliage of the B&B grounds.

The French inspired Saint Avold Suite is truly something special. The suite is appointed with a grand four poster King bed and the whitewashed decorative fireplace trimmed in blue echoes the deep blue hues of the tiled shower.  Through the stained glass panel and farmhouse door you'll discover an adjoining sunroom with a twin sized trundle daybed and a sitting area with a delightful view of lively Hay street.

Enjoy the entire top floor of the MacPherson House in the spacious Lookout Suite! With a private entrance from the second floor, climb the stairs to the Lookout to enjoy a birds eye view of Hay Street. The King room features a velvet sofa, coffee bar, sitting area and a large bathroom with a tiled shower and deep soaker tub. This is the only room with an operational fireplace and Wi-Fi streaming Smart TV.

The Dogwood room is light, fresh and airy. The original hardwood floors lend texture to the crisp, modern decor of a room sure to sweep you off your feet.  The wrought iron King sized bed invites your best night's sleep. Fayetteville hosts an annual Dogwood Festival, and be sure to take a tour through the local dogwood trail!

Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown with the private cottage experience. Located just behind the MacPherson House, the Cottage on Hay Street offers plenty of room to relax with a living room, charming dining area and kitchenette (no stove). The private bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the Sofa in the living room is a Queen sleeper sofa. It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway, for families traveling with children or for traveling with pets
