The Lafayette

The Lafayette

Considered by some to be the most romantic room, the elegant Lafayette with its gold and crystal chandelier gives a nod to the French influence in Fayetteville, inspired by the Marquis de Lafayette himself. With gold finishes throughout, an antique wardrobe and an exquisite modern tiled shower, this is where history meets modern luxury. Enjoy your beverage of choice at the sitting area overlooking bustling Hay Street and the beautiful foliage of the B&B grounds.

The Lafayette

Local History:

The elegant and comfortable Lafayette room pays homage to the visit the Marquis de Lafayette made to his namesake city in 1825. In 1783 the town of Campbellton had been renamed in his honor and is the only namesake town visited by the Marquis himself.

Enjoy the quaint marble table with a view into the gorgeous pecan trees next to the Inn and peek out the front windows to lively Hay Street, our "Main Street."

The Lafayette features a plush King sized bed, a full sized mirror and an antique wardrobe. The private en-suite bathroom, uniquely tiled, has a corner shower while the vanity is in the room to the left of the fireplace. Your stay includes luxury toiletries and waffle knit bathrobes to enjoy at the Inn. This room is on the second floor adjacent to the upstairs coffee bar.

Breakfast is included.

We offer a seated breakfast at 8:30 AM in the dining room or the option of a brown bag breakfast available at your convenience with fruit, yogurt and baked goods we make with seasonal ingredients.

Coffee and hot tea are plentifully available 24/7 at coffee bars throughout the house.
